In his homily Archbishop Anthony Obinna, the archbishop of the Owerri  Catholic archdiocese who presided  over the church service with other priests assisting, described the leadership style of most of our political leaders as herodian, full of greed, covetousness, violence and terror.

Like the biblical Herod,  they ate terror and violence personified leaders  who use soldiers,  police, political leaders, religious leaders and all security apparatuses within their reach to unleash terror to people to achieve their objectives.

” Now Herod is alive with us in different parts of Africa, Nigeria and Imo state. People are being killed as a result of terror and violence of our political leaders who are greedy”
